and the black keys, never looked so beautiful
and a perfect rainbow never seemed so dull..
Rosalie stepped out of the Cullen house. She knew she hadn't hunted in a few days, so she might as well have hunted now. She made sure that no one was watching, or near. The last thing people needed to see was a fragile ,(at least, fragile looking) blond teenage girl walking into a forest. That would speculate too many rumors for the family. The small town of Forks was very fond and knew of the Cullens, so that would not be good for their 'image'.
As she entered the forest, she quickly caught onto a herd of elk's sweet scent. She dashed swiftly to them and saw that they were stopped to take a drink of water at the river. She attacked them and drained them all in seconds. There was enough of them that fulfilled her quenching thirst. Feeling satisfied enough, Rosalie took off back to the Cullen residence.
Inside, she noticed that the others were not there yet. They were probably out hunting or something of the sort. Not particularly caring where they were, Rosalie went upstairs. She noticed that since Edward wasn't there, she could freely play the piano until he actually did return back. She gracefully sat down on the wooden piano bench. She started playing a piece she had memorized long before, letting her fingers gracefully run across the keys.

Edward began his way back home. He'd been hunting with Emmett and Jasper, and was racing them back. He was winning. His thoughts drifted softly to Bella and Nessie as he ran. Nessie was such a good girl. She was growing up nicely, but way too fast. And of course, Edward loved Bella. Nothing could ever change that. Though, then Edward remembered someone else. Someone who wanted that to change, but wasn't his enemy. Shelby. It hurt to think of her, because Edward knew how she felt, sort of. He knew what it was like to love someone, love them so much, but know, (well, think in his case), that they loved somebody else more. Edward shuttered at the thought of Shelby. He couldn't hate her, he couldn't love her.
Edward could see his and Bella's cottage. He was almost home. Edward wasn't sure if anyone else was there, but there probably was. Everyone was out doing different things today though. You never knew.

Rosalie continued playing the sonata as time passed by briefly. She let her thoughts wander to what has happened to the Cullen family in the short time that Renesmee came along, and now. New dogs coming to La Push, two of them imprinting on both Edward and Alice. Rosalie pitied them both. Personally, she could not stand just simply having wolves around, but having some imprint on you? Wow, that must've been expected to be horrible. But she thought of how Bella and Jasper would be taking it. She wondered what it was like to feel like you could lose your loved one any second. But, she still didn't get it. Vampires and shapeshifters/werewolves were mortal enemies, how were they supposed to mate? Shouldn't there be an impossibility for this to happen to anyone? Stupid mutts, she thought.
She sensed Edward getting closer. She chuckled as she realized that she was just thinking about both him and Alice. A familiar phrase popped into her mind, "Speak of the devil, and he shall appear." Eh, Edward wasn't so much the devil, but she was thinking about him and sensing him getting closer. She knew he would probably go straight to the cottage instead of coming to the main house.
