Zarah stood in the doorway to the huge, open looking mansion. She wasn't quite sure what was going on, and she looked to the vampire inside the house. He was older than her, by far, and he had plenty of explaining to do, seeing as Zarah didn't know what the hell was going on.
"So, Edward, you want me to come into the house?" she asked, confused.

"Well, if you don't want to, we can stay outside. I figure you want to see how we live though," Edward told the girl outside. Zarah wasn't a newborn vampire, but not an old one. She wasn't a vegitarian, but that was normal. Edward didn't like it, but it was normal. Edward waited as she looked at him through the doorway, half-glaring.
'Not going in. Don't trust him at all...' She thought.
'Oh my god! She's gonna drive me insane. Can't anyone else get home already?!' Edward thought to himself. "Just come in please Zarah. I'm not going to hurt you."

Zarah didn't want to go into the stranger's house. She felt unsafe and outnumbered. Though he was the only one there, he had a coven. Not just a coven. A huge one. With guard dogs, well, werewolf things. Eek! Zarah decided to walk in anyway though. She walked closer to where Edward stood, and began to talk when she was close enough for a normal discussion to be held.
"So let's start with this: Why aren't your eyes red like everyone else's?"

Of course Edward knew what the girl wanted to know, and what they all wanted to know. 'Because I'm not a one eyed one horned flying purple people eater, I am evloved, unlike you,' Edward thought to himself. "I don't um... Eat people, I eat animals, along with the rest of my family..."
