Character's Age: appears 20, just over 160 years old.
How far have you gotten in the series?: read all 4 books
Short character description: Jasper is 6'3" and has golden honey blond hair. He is muscular but lean. Like the other Cullens, he has pale, marble-like skin and bruise-like purple shadows under his eyes, which appear gradually as his thirst increases. He has golden eyes, like all vegetarian vampires, which turn darker, eventually becoming black, as he grows thirstier. He has many crescent-shaped scars on his body, face, neck and jaw from the bites of vampires he fought on Maria's behalf. The white scars are invisible to humans unless contrasted by a strong light, but when viewed by a vampire they are said to be his most dominant feature, causing defensive reactions in vampires who don't know him.
If you are not selected for this character, who else would you like to be?: Probably none.
Is there any particular reason for choosing this character? Jasper's my favorite XD
What characters are you currently playing, if any? Jasper
Sample of Writing as desired character (2+ Paragraphs): The concern and sadness he'd been feeling off of Alice from the moment he'd started ascending the stairs melted away completely and was replaced with relief. He held her gaze in silence, sharing the same private greeting they always did when they had to leave each other’s side. The images of her that fraught his mind did no justice to her true beauty. The smile that twitched at the corner of her perfect lips, stretching up ever so slightly to the planes of her cheek was meant only for him. In return, a smile played at the corner of his lips . It made him realize how much he’d truly missed her. His world revolved around her. He denied her nothing, she was his Alice. His soul purpose of existence. He would do anything for her.
Her lovely scent drifted toward him like a beckoning, something he could never and didn’t want to resist. He closed the distance between them and took up her delicate, smooth hands into his, keeping his gaze locked on hers entirely. The contents of her eyes held a hidden worry, something that was confirmed by the slight air of concern in the mood around her. He cocked his head a little bit, confused, silently questioning it.
The smile that had twitched at the corners of his mouth, slowly turned into a frown. It bothered him to see his mate worry, although most of her worries revolved around him and his struggle with the animal diet. The hint of worry she was trying so desperately to hide seemed oddly familiar. His thoughts traced back to their last night together in their chamber, wrapped in each other’s arms. He’d prodded her unsuccessfully over something she’d been reluctant to tell him. Although, better hidden, it was the same.
The same drive he’d felt early this morning was returning in slow increments. The drive to know what was going on. The soldier in him wouldn’t relent and the strategist in him once again began to mentally question it. What was going on? "Alice…" He began, quietly hesitant in his words. He wasn’t sure how to go about resurrecting the reservations he’d had early this morning in the confines of their chamber. She’d slipped on a number perfectly designed to throw him off and drive him crazy with arousal. It had worked. He had gotten lost in his train of thought, completely engulfed in her. He’d of course caught onto her ploy and despite her best efforts had left her wanting, yearning for more. In an attempt to drive the answers out of her.
He lifted one scarred hand and caressed the planes of her cheek bone, his eyes searching the depths of hers, seeking withheld answers. His hand fell away from her cheek and dropped back down to her hand, tracing down the contours of her arm and delicate wrist, curling his fingers around hers. He was completely unaware of the presence of others in the room, only completely taken in by her. It was a sudden movement out of the corner of his eye that made him aware of Edward and Emmett’s presence. He sighed in resignation and turned toward his brothers.
He wasn’t going to let it go, but he wasn’t going to bring it up in front of them. It was inappropriate and rude. He would simply hold off until they were alone. "We lost track of Peter.." He said, with an obvious reluctant admittance of failure. "We were able to trace Peter’s scent to a certain point but we lost it. The scent got mixed up with decay and werewolf and despite our best efforts we couldn’t separate them well enough to see where it led.." The irritation in his tone was obvious. They had scoured everywhere from halfway to Forks to the woods surrounding the house, trying to reconnect with the trail.
(Sorry for the symbols.. it was a recent rpg post of mine. Enjoy! )
